Stuck on upgrade screen

Hi,

My Mum is stuck on an upgrade screen and can’t get out of it. Pulling the power does nothing. I’m in a different part of the country and a Sky user so not much help. I’ll attach photo she sent.

Anyone got any advice, it would be most appreciated! Thanks

That looks like she's trying to view a channel that she isn't subscribed to

Yes, I thought that but she can’t exit out by changing channel, using the menu or guide.

There's a power switch on the back. She just needs to turn the box for 30 seconds and then back on

Tried that. No luck, just goes back to the same screen after pulling the power cord and leaving it 1 min. Same screen in reboot.

Has she tried changing channel using the buttons on the box?

No, that’s a good point, the remote batteries may be flat.

Has your Mum recently changed her subscription. Sometimes that message pops up when you first upgrade your viewing package to add new channels.

If that is the case then simply press OK on the remote control, the message will disappear and the channel will be available for viewing
