Hi,
I recently changed my package on the recommendation of a BT customer support agent, I've moved from an older package which BT no longer offer to the 'Entertainment' package which includes all the NOW TV stuff. The problem is, I cant view any of these channels on my YouView box, It constantly prompts me to upgrade.
I can view these channels on the NOW TV app, but not my box! Any ideas how to resolve this?
I spent 2 hours on the phone this weekend and the call center agent just hung up on me after all that waiting - terrible customer service so far
If it keeps telling you something like "you need to add this channel to your subscription", simply press OK on your remote control whilst the message is on screen
I've tried this and it doesnt work...
I've also tried rescanning channels and restarting the box but still have the same issue.
I've called support and been transferred around and had someone hang up on me as they couldn't suggest anything...
I have no idea what to do so was wo daring if anyone has had a similar issue or can advise what to do..
Try factory reset of the box.
You can also do this from Settings if you have no recordings you wish to keep
