BT vs EE - subscribing/watching F1 without having to pay for Premier League too

Coming up to renewal date with BT package that seems to include everything but 'paid for' sports.

F1 is potentially on the shopping list but have no need for the full sports package as zero interest in football.

Anecdotal forum posts suggest there was/is a NowTV offer via BT giving this option but nothing seems to show up

Any suggestions before I get into the debate on whether to stay BT or transfer to EE now

Nowtv often run offers that cover the F1 season but it includes all the Sky Sports channels, it normally works out around £20 per month but you have pay for it all up front if I recall. 

Don't think this was ever available from BT/EE though.
