Does anyone know if either Rugby or Motogp is planned to be broadcast in HDR in the future?

I believe some Rugby games are in 4K HDR but I've rarely seen MotoGP on the EPG as 4K and 4K HDR via the app

If there's no clash with Premier League and the upload trucks available, there's no reason they should be able to broadcast in 4K HDR but it also depends of facilities at the grounds. Premier League football teams have to have 4K HDR facilities available...

MotoGP is different because BT Sport will just be taking the world feed so it's whatever that's kicking out. I think they used to upscale when BT Sport Ultimate started but I don't think they do any longer.

Sky advertise F1 as 4K but they're just upscaling the world feed an well I believe.
