Call to tell me internet being terminated?

Same number called me 13:14,14:12,15:16,15:49,16:18

Not on the VIP list so it goes to voicemail via the 24/7 block all calls except VIP's. Seems to be the only way because with Call Protect, you have to get at least one call before you can block it, and 100 is just not enough for the blacklist. You can't just remove the older numbers as they do come up again and again!

Shame the Do Not Disturb costs £3 per month.

PS Maybe BT need to add this scam number to their BLACKLIST???? How many other people are getting this call every hour or so?

We have had this call a number of times over the last few months.

Being terminated due to illegal activity in california is the usual message or some such.

Not sure why somebody in California would bother with our internet, got enough of there own.

#meto today but with a different phone number, 02083661161, have reported it to fraud action line.

Why can't BT block these numbers as soon as they are reported.

Reporting has no effect at all - they are fake numbers - often just someones number, or a business etc.What needs to happen is to stop the fake numbers being injected into the system.

I am at my Mothers house currently and she has just received one of these nuisance calls.  I am concerned that if/when they call back she may hit a 1 or 2 per the call and get ripped off by these people.  My mother has Alzheimer's so please do not tell me to her just to hang up, she gets confused and worried by unknown callers.  Surely there must be a way to stop this happening.
