ET phoning home?

My SH2 seems to be having a nervous breakdown.

It’s been running a CWMP ‘periodic’ session every hour for the last 24 hours.  Log suggests they’re completing successfully and nothing else seems to be amiss.  Still doing it after a reset and a completely new IP address.

Might be time for a full factory reset I think, but just to satisfy my curiosity, is it just me or are other people seeing this?

Is this what you mean? If so it's every 24 hours or so for me too.

Re: ET phoning home?

As far as I am aware the SH2 will check for firmware updates every day. That is it doing that. If there isn't one waiting, then it won't do anything as it has nothing to download.

@c64z86 @wkirkman  Sorry, you've both missed the point.

I know what the sessions are supposed to be for and I know they occur every 24 hours but over the last two days it's started running a session every hour.  I'm just trying to get a handle on if it's a screw-up on the SH2 or the management server throwing a wobbly.

Looks like the inform schedule on the SH2 is screwed up.
