Can anyone assist,all my neighbours can get broadband and have been able to for last few year but I can’t.
whenever I query I have been told it’s a direct line only,! Yet we are not far from a cabinet and the last time an engineer from openreach called he said it would be easy to do.
its very frustrating having slow speeds and unfair, can someone please help on how best to resolve this.

If checker did nit recognise number are you a BT broadband customer - or another ISP?
Are you a BT customer ?, If your number isn’t recognised that suggests you are not a BT customer , so this forum isn’t necessarily the place for your question , your current provider may have a similar customer forum.
Oh sorry I am currently with sky but it’s via open reach
It’s an openreach eng who will come if a prob
Then you need to post on the Sky forum, to get an answer.

BT Retail have nothing to do with Openreach, who are a separate company.
