Is it just your mobile that is blocked or mobile phones in general?

Thanks for responding.

The only number that cannot be dialled from the landline handsets is my mobile number.  Everything else is fine,

I can dial my landline from my mobile without any problem

Then you need to go to MYBT as you must have all mobile calls from your landline blocked to avoid unwelcome charges. You can then allow mobile calls

Re: Handset problem

Thanks again.

I don't have a BT landline, just a BT phone (BT3570).  I have already contacted Virgin who say that I do not have Call Barring in operation and suggest that it is the handset.  However, when I disconnect the Cordless Handsets and plug in the old fashioned  telephone, the problem persists.  I am at a loss to understand what to do next.

If you are a virgin customer and not BT then you need to post on virgin forum as this forum is for BT residential customers

It has to be an issue with the Virgin network, there is nothing anyone can do on this BT forum.
