Help identifying the purpose of this box

Go to solution

What does it do, who can remove it and will it cause any bother if it is blanked?

I have a MK4 BT Master Socket for my broadband which is out of shot in the photo below if that has any bearing on the removal of the box below.

Thanks

Broadband and phone are via PlusNet and will be activated tomorrow.

The box in question as you can see, has a very old BT logo on it so I’m wondering if it’s hardwired for an old rotary dial phone?

Please could you post on the Plusnet user forum, as this is the BT Retail Customer forum, and if any investigation is needed, then Plusnet will need to be involved, as it may be an Openreach network connection point.

This forum has nothing to do with Openreach.

Thanks
