Internal by box removal
Hi,
I want to remove this by box it’s wired in, I don’t think any of the wires are live. Am I okay to just remove it?

Re: Internal by box removal
If it is a master socket, you are not meant to interfere with it.

Re: Internal by box removal
How do I know if it’s a master socket, I think it’s a old landline socket as just has a single rectangular connection point

Re: Internal by box removal
Do you have BT broadband and if so is it FTTC or FTTP? If the former then you need to leave it but if latter then you may be able to move it
It the property of openreach not BT but if not in use I doubt openreach will come round and check
