Internet banking

Anyone having problems logging in to Barclays online banking??

I have been unable to login for two days now. Have contacted barclays and they sent me a text with a link to track the progress of my complaint, which is brilliant as I cannot login. Obviously a standard reply.

Just trying to help!

Take your debit card, if you have one, to the Bank, and ask them if they can access your account.

Then push it from there!

Also, if the cash machine works, then you know your card is acceptable.

 

Go to the bank desk first, though.

Take your debit card, if you have one, to the Bank, and ask them if they can access your account.

Then push it from there!

Also, if the cash machine works, then you know your card is acceptable.

Bank inform me that they cannot replicate the fault.

Have seen this kind of problem before on another website and it transpired that something had been changed at the server.

The IT manager insisted that my computer was at fault, it wasn't.

I'm waiting for the bank to contact me.

Nothing amiss with credit cards and debit card, just online banking. On the news this morning there was report of HSBC customers having problems logging in, which has now been sorted.

At least you now know that your card is ok, and that the account is secure.

Sometimes, cash machines can swallow your card.

 

Banks place some importance on Internet banking. So it will be fixed - sooner rather than later.

Especially when you can't pay off their credit cards!

 

It's annoying when they ask you to complete surveys on online banking by emails. edigital survey.com and the like. 

Against all the rules of security in these days, even if you know they are secure!!!!

 

Just ignore them.

Thanks for that.

It's four days now and all I've had from Barclays is an email to say they will treat this as a priority.

I'm glad they are not the fire brigade.

Have requested a new passcode but that can take up to 5 days.

Please consider this thread as closed.
