BT Assessment centre experience and impressions

Hi all just recently attended an assessment centre in Brentwood after months of waiting. Just wanted to give all a heads up on what goes on there. Start time was 08.15 but only started at 8.30. Met by a miserable git who did not even introduce himself properly and at one point moaned about how he had to do this 3 times a week. Presentation, maths and english assessment and interview straight afterwards which are scenario questions. General impression I got was that the recruiting staff were generally jaded and wanted to finish up quickly as possible.

Last stage- wiring a 13 amp plug. I failed on this one having not practised properly and 3 staff looking intentionally all the time. Got the email a few hours later saying I had failed the interview. Well, looking at the web reviews of Openreach and the miserable faces of their engineers I am glad that I did not get selected.

Just a true account of my experience and not because I did not get a job offer. Though for me it was a complete waste of time and money.
