Re: Shockingly low broadband

Don't go there,

They gave me a 'desktop quote' for 3 houses 2km of fiber £18,000.
Community offered to do 10-15k worth of work after survey.
Firm quote £20,000+ = + 15k = 35k/3 = £10,000+ per property 2km.

What?

Re: Shockingly low broadband

Had an email today ......
"Your property is located in the network build area ‘Innsworth 1 (South West)’ and the build in your area is due to start in Quarter 2, 2019.
Although, as a buried network it is susceptible to delays and I understand there is an ongoing wayleave negotiation in this area"
What does quarter 2 mean? And ongoing wayleave negotiation?

Re: Shockingly low broadband

Quarter 2 could be April to June or for financial year July to September. Wayleave negotiations means some of the proposed route must cross private land and Openreach needs to obtain permission from the land owner before it can proceed with that part of the underground works.
