Set webmail to time out?

I use webmail.  Is there any way to make the program log me out automatically after a certain period of being unused? The other day I didn't sign out in the usual way and when I went back to sign into the account (the next morning) it was still 'live'.  I do have a logon PIN for my laptop so everything was secure, but I was a bit surprised.  The machine was in standby overnight and not switched off - would that have made a difference?

You can not set the log out time but BTMail does normally log you out after a set time of inactivity however I can not recall what the length of time is.

There are numerous posts on the forum from people complaining about being automatically logged out when not using their email even although the page is open when they want to remaining logged in all day so that system does appear to work.

You could try clearing the history and cookies of your web browser to see if that helps the next time you log in.
