Anyway, lately I have been unable to watch Amazon prime. I get a black screen with a white whirling circle then it kicks me back out to the main app screen. All other apps working ok. Any ideas?
Have you tried switching the BT box off at the mains for 10-20 seconds?
I get this too. It appears to affect any streamed TV content.
After the circle in the middle of the screen has twirled for a while, a message appears declaring that the Internet connection is lost, and that the hub needs to be re-started to recover. When this happens, the TV box fails to retain state information for the content being viewed (i.e. your place in the programme is lost).
Meanwhile, I can still access Netflix/Amazon Prime via my phone over the same Internet connection, so I wonder whether there's something about the TV box's connection to the content delivery network(s) used to deliver these channels?
