BT DTR-T4000 No longer turns telly on

OK just a minor issue,  when I used to turn on my BT box (DT-T4000) my Samsung TV MU6400 also turned on with just the press of one button on the BT remote (the middle one with blue logo at the very top).

In the last week or so this has stopped working and now I have to press the TV button as well.  This doesn't bother me too much, but the wife thought the TV had broken..... ;0)

Any ideas?   I scoured the menus on the TV and the BT box but can't see anything obvious.

Thanks

Re: BT DTR-T4000 No longer turns telly on

Does the Youview remote still control the TV's volume? I'm assuming Yes as the remote's TV button turns the TV on.

Try reseating the HDMI cable.

Try re-pairing the remote to the TV.

You could also look at the Samsung's Anynet settings.

Yes the remote still functions the same. It's just the On/Off that's stopped.

I'll try your suggestions, Tim.

Thanks

Re: BT DTR-T4000 No longer turns telly on

It's the same here and has been for a while.

I think you are referring to HDMI-CEC, where when you turn the YouView box on or off, it turns the TV on or off.

My YouView remote still controls all of the TV functions on my LG, it's just this on and off that has stopped working and only affects my T4000.

The T2100 I have upstairs hooked up to a Toshiba TV works exactly as intended and turns the TV on or off as I power the box on or off.
