BT TV App Extra - does BT understand the concept of FREE?

Go to solution

I've received an email from BT thanking me for my loyalty and offering the BT TV App Extra 'absolutely free'.

When I click on the link I go through to a page that offers me upgrades to all sorts of Freeview boxes at various prices NONE of which are £0.00 - i.e., what would be the normal definition of 'absolutely FREE' - and a monthly subscription.

I already have BT TV and Freeview and the BT TV App, so can someone enlighten me as to what this great offer is all about and how it's free.

It would appear that something has gone astray.

When I clicked on the link it took me to the order page, I filled in my details had the order accepted and all with a £0.00 bill.

Mind you I've still to locate whats been added to my package, I suspect I'll just be able to install the apps to a couple more devices (up to 4?)

Hi @mispeltyuoth

If you were recently affected by the rise in prices on your tv package then you can have the TV app Extra for free.

If the email link didn’t work you can just speak to the tv team who can add it for you.
