Re: BT TV App on Android 5.0 Lollipop

Live tv just buffers, then I get an error message 'bt tv has stopped working'

Samsung galaxy s5.

On the bt help page it says "If you’re currently running Android 5.0 Lollipop or later, you won’t be able to watch BT TV App on your Android device. We’re working hard to support this version and hope to have it working soon."

Re: BT TV App on Android 5.0 Lollipop

My Nexus 7 using Android 5.0.2 also had problems using the app. The app don't work at all on my Nexus 4 using Android. 5.1.
I let my sister use the app on her iPad mini and she seems to be liking the app so far and its working fine with her.

Re: BT TV App on Android 5.0 Lollipop

Doesn't work on either my Nexus 4 (lollipop 5.1) or Tesco Hudl 1 (4.2.2) - starts to buffer and then screen goes black and app closes. It's also really annoying that you have to wait 30 days to try any other devices, If it doesn't work, they should reset that option and allow you to try more. I'd far rather have the option to drop BT Sports, ENPS and Eurosport and have a second box enabled. BT claim to listen to feedback, so who knows?....

Re: BT TV App on Android 5.0 Lollipop

It works on my Sony Z3 which has Lolllipop installed.

I am sure the upgrade is being worked on, after all I would rather have something that works than be full of bugs. So I guess its just a matter of giving them time to resolve.

Yet Sky Go works perfectly and has done since it launched.
