Have been trying to check my BT TV apps are up to date but always get this error message. Have rebooted the box but never seems to want to successfully update.
Can anyone advise?

That is a bug that has existed for a few years on some Youview boxes.
It is confusing and seems to be putting out that error message when it should be putting out the informative All your apps are up to date.
Has been raised several times over the years on the Youview community.
I have the same problem. AT least we know it's a bug, a bug BT doesnt seem interested in fixing
Given that the bug is just a presentation one (it says it can't update the apps, but the apps are up to date anyway), it'll be a much lower priority than other bugs.
Also - it's not BT that fixes these bugs. It's YouView software.
