BT TV is fine for live TV but a pain for BBC IPlayer or Netflix. Programmes on BBC IPlayer stop and start for no reason and programmes on Netflix spool to 25% and then stop working. Sometime see a message that states that the internet connection is the problem but the connection is working fine on my desktop computer, tablet and phone. Anyone a solution to this problem?
Thanks for your help.
The YouView box is connected to the the BT Home Hub 5 through the mains connected by a Broadband Extender 500 in the study upstairs to a Broadband Extender 500 adjacent to the TV and YouView box in the living room.
Hope that helps to solve this continual pain.
Terrestial TV works perfectly.
Recording programmes play back perfectly.
Have problems with Netflix spooling and BBC IPlayer stopping and starting.
Have problems with all catch up programmes some times.
Sorry I misunderstood, Tecwizz
No problems with accessing Broadband on my desktop, laptop, phone or tablet anywhere in the house.
BT Broadband has very high upload and download speeds and the signal never drops out. Am happy except for the TV fiasco.
Not done factory reset and don't know how to do so. Can Google or read in instructions. Will try doing so when I know what to do.
No - I am pretty certain that we don't have an extra set of extenders.
The house is only 8 years old so the wiring is modern.
I have to nip out so won't be back for a couple of hours so my reply to any questions will be delayed.
