We had a power surge in the night, and since then we've not been able to successfully start our BT TV box. I've tried many restarts and also going into Maintenance Mode, but it won't even go into that. This sounds like the box is broken. Would I need a replacement from BT? We have a lot of recordings, so concerned that we may lose them.
It sounds like the box has died. Report it to BT and they'll send you a new box but I wouldn't mention the power surge
