BT TV Internet Channels on a Netgear D6200

I have had to replace the HH5 (we have FTTC) with a Netgear D6200 router and an Openreach VDSL modem. This has considerably improved speed, stability and reliability of the home broadband and network. Unfortunately I can no longer see the subscribed BT TV internet channels, BT sport etc on my YouView BT TV box and from reading this forum it would seem changing the router is preventing me from viewing the internet TV channels. Is there any workaround for this router? Thank-you.

Re: BT TV Internet Channels on a Netgear D6200

See https://community.bt.com/t5/YouView-Boxes/Using-a-3rd-party-router-for-Multicast/td-p/1048582

for those routers shown to be able to support multicast, which is required for the BT TV channels that are delivered via the internet.

Worth a look at http://support.netgear.com/for_home/default.aspx to see if the product you have does actually support this/if it requires an update.

If it doesn't support this then you'll need a different product.

Thank-you... I have raised the question with Netgear support.
