BT TV R8000

I have an R8000 which netgear have told me should work with bt tv no problem and when i said it didnt work they were confused to say the least if anyone knows how to set up this router without the hh3 hh4 hh5 i would be more than happy to know.

You need a modem as a starter as the R8000 doesnt have one.
You can buy an Huawei HG612 or ECI focus on ebay which one is best depends on th hardware in the cabinet
Once you have a modem the setting for BT Tv is in advanced WAN

Thats the problem i have it all set up it just wont work

As I said you need a modem. Do you have one? Without it the R8000 can't connect

yeah i do have a modem it is set up it just wont work i can get on the internet ect but bt tv wont work igmp enabled

Update yourfirmware
Then go into advanced settings set up wan
Select british telecom igmp flag yes
