Re: BT TV box sound out

Yes. There are RCA audio output sockets on the back (Red and White) which can be connected to the line in of a hi-fi amp. There is also a Yellow socket for composite video but that can be ignored.

Note: This is the case the DTR2100 model I have but would not surprise me if newer, "better" models have dropped those outputs.

An alternative is to use the SCART output with an adaptor.

If you're TV is a modern one, there should be an SPDif output and if you're hifi has an SPDif input it will route the sound into the TV via HDMI and back out through SPDif... That's how mine is set-up to route into a soundbar... If it doesn't have SPDif, the tv might have another audio output ie. Phono connectors

Or if it is an older TV may still have a headphone socket which can be used.
