So I've recently switched to BT for FTTP broadband, and I'm now considering ditching Sky Q TV boxes and switching everything to BT for TV as well. What are my options in an area where we can't get a decent Freeview signal? The most we can get is Freeview Lite, and even that is very patchy.
Hi @tarbat
The BT Box takes an aerial feed only for Freeview and they're not available OTT either. I used my dish to feed a Freesat box for the FTA channels. It's a bit of a faff switching boxes and remotes but it does give the ability to record up to 4 channels, albeit split 2 + 2.
There is a BT TV app but that only streams subscription channels, no FTA.
Okay, thanks for the reply. Looks like BT TV is a non-starter for me then 😞
