BT TV subscritpion channels

Hi. I ordered a new package for my house on 31/08 after my ex moved out and took the existing package with her. I have fibre to the home broadband, phone and the Max HD package with sky cinema added on. The broadband works, the phone line finally works 2 days after I was told it was going to buy my by tv box cannot see that I have a BT TV account and none of my subscription channels or BT Player works. The box is connected to the broadband and the in demand players work. Can someone help to explain why I can’t access the subscription channels and why it thinks I don’t have an account?

Hi, I would guess your account has not been set up correctly. Have you checked with the help desk?

I would also try rebooting your box first.

Hi. I have reset both box and router and when I call they say my account shows as live

Haha, customer service at it’s  finest, your account needs looked at  more closely.

I will ask a Mod to help

As a matter of interest, what do the CS staff say when you tell them the channels are not there?

I can see the channels but when I try and set them up it says I don’t have a BT TV account. They think I kneed an engineer to come out!
