Until 1 day ago, we have never had any problems with out BT YouView box. Yesterday we found that the BBC iPlayer app was failing to launch. I can run iPlayer on other smart TV devices without a problem in the house.
Trying BT sport channels which are streamed, these are barely working, indicating a slow internet connection.
However, doing a speed test, I have approx 30 meg down and 7 meg up so a good broadband connection.
The wired connection from the router to the YouView box remains untouched. The ethernet cable is in good order. It is configured with a fixed (static) IP with no clashes or conflicts.
Have there been any software patches or updates recently which may have introduced the problem?
What else can I do to fix this problem? Thanks
