BT box wifi

Go to solution

Hi, my sister is considering BT TV.

She is looking at the entertainment package at £22.

Does the BT TV box that will be supplied be connected by WiFi of would it have to be ethernet cable or homeplugs?

Thanks

None of the BTTV (Youview) boxes support wi-fi, must be wired by ethernet or powerline adaptors.
There are rumours of a wi-fi box, have been for a few years.

BT supply a 10 meter cable or when ordering you can get discounted extenders for £10, they work fine and plug in a wall socket in one room by the hub, plug in a wall socket where the TV will be, job done.
