I've just received Halo super fast, a Smart Hub 2 and o e black extender disc. Since setting these up BT sport gives me the dreaded IPC6023 error.
Turning off Smart Setup didn't make any difference.
My kit list is:
Smart Hub 2 connected directly to a Humax DTRT400 BT you view box with a Cat 5e UTP cable..
I have also tried connecting with powerlne adapter and an ethernet cable from the extender disc. All resulted in the same error.
The BT sport phone app connected to the WiFi from the Smart Hub works ok.
Please help, is it a multicast issue? Any ideas how to resolve it?
Solved! Go to Solution.
Also of note, with previous setups ofoa home hub 5 and previous by broadband package of around 50mbps (I can't remember exactly) BT sport worked
However with the 100+ Mbps and smart hub 2 it doesn't.
The engineer did something at the street box during install to enable the super fast speeds.
Other streaming channels such as Amazon prime work, and broadband speeds are way above speeds required for streaming.
More likely to be an account issue when you changed your package, its possible one of the BT TV experts or one of the moderators can check.
Generally speaking, IPC6023 points to a multicast problem.
If possible, try connecting your black disk via an ethernet cable directly to your T4000 (no power line adapter)
I've had success in the past with this error by checking my router to find the DNS address and entering it manually into the network settings on my Youview box
