Hi, I have a tv box and subscription  which is in the living room, if I buy a second box will I be able to set it up in the bedroom and watch tv there providing I'm only watching one box at a time?

Thanks for any help.

Hi @thegrifter  Even watching on one box at a time you will need to add a second box subscription to your BTTV package.

Err , not necessarily.

If the second box is just used for freeview channels then no extra payments are required.

If you want to watch your subscription channels on the second box then taking out Extra Room would be probably a cheaper option.

Thanks Tim Curtis, that's what I thought but perhaps wasn't clear on that in my post. Do you know if the apps will work too? It's mostly for the Netflix app.

Yes Netflix, iPlayer, NowTV etc will all
Work without a second box subscription. Just hide the BTTV channels in the guide to avoid confusion.
