As my router is remote from the TV I'm using the ethernet connect to powerline adaptors
I will have a go at a factory reset as you suggest and let you know how I get on
Morning, I have just had BT Internet/TV reinstalled after initial install failed 2 weeks ago. I was getting the same error code, did a reset of my box as many suggested and now my BT Sport subscriptions don't work either? Can someone help please?

As suggested I have carried out a factory reset, going through "settings" and using the remote control . It found an update and then spent much longer going through the set up than when I first installed it . Everything now works fine, so the original set up must have missed something

Hi Matt, thanks for getting in touch. I called the customer line in the end and got through quickly. Not sure if they actually did anything their end but after another factory reset both player and channels were working again.
