you mention it is occurring every day , presumably when you switch it on from standby ?
does it also occur on those days when you have not set any recordings ?
May be worth temporarily changing the standby setting to always ready to see iif the problem continues when in that mode.
Are you given any options as to what form of reset to do and if so which options have you selected ?
Do you have a current BT TV contract ?
