Bt subscription channels not showing

Hi,

I am a new customer and I have set up my BT You View box but I'm not receiving any of the subscription channels that are included in my package. What could be the reason for this?

I am also concerned that my BT online account information is showing my mother's name on the account rather than mine.

Hi Andy,

 

Premium channels can take up to 24 hours from the activation to work, keep your hub and Youview box switched on.

Premium channels are also delivered over broadband, have you connected the Youview box to your hub ?

Also, what package did you order ? not all include premium channels.

It is the Max HD bundle that I have subscribed to.

My subscription started 3 days ago butwill keep my box on for a full 24 hours to see if it filters through.

Does your BT sport and the AMC channel work ok ? I'd advise contacting them now, it's been 3 days so you should be up and running now.

Nope, it doesn't even show in the planner. When I tune in my channels it shows:

TV Aerial channels: 43
Subscription channels: 0

I've been through live chat twice both with the same scripted responses that has got me nowhere.

Thought I would give here ago as it looks like a lot of people find solutions to their issues in here.

It could be a few things, try Can't watch or access subscription TV channels  first, if that still doesn't fix things ring them, support is 24/7

So the person I spoke to on live chat yesterday said they had fixed the problem and that the subscription channels would pull through at midnight. I had my doubts and I was correct as there are still no subscription channels showing.

I was paying a bit extra each month for Sky but I never had any hassle with them getting things working.

If BT can't get this sorted today I'll be cancelling and going back to Sky.
