Bt tv box pro Netflix atmos

Hi,

does the new bt tv pro box output Dolby atmos on Netflix please?

ideally would like to know prior to purchasing.

But is that specifically for Netflix?

There are devices e.g. Nvidia shield 2017 which supports Atmos but is not licensed by Netflix so it can’t support atmos on Netflix, if that makes sense…

You'll need to check with Netflix to ask if their app specifically supports Atmos on the Youview platform

I did and they said to ask the device manufacturer hence this post.

It's the standard Netflix app that is available across all Youview platforms so if Netflix aren't saying there are any rights issues preventing Atmos delivery, it should deliver Atmos as the Pro Box does support it but BT aren't responsible for what Netflix etc do with their apps.

Yes, I can confirm that the Netflix app on the BT TV Pro box does currently support Atmos.

What about Amazon Prime Dolby atmos on Bt tv box pro ? Can that be made available with configuration?

Failing that I hear that Now TV has Prime Video now with Atmos, but not on my box apparently.
