Bt tv box

So I unplugged and plugged my BT TV box set and smoke started to come out of the box set and now it doesn't work. I made sure it was the right power connector being plugged into the box set.

Re: Bt tv box

For safety reasons, I wouldn't try connecting it again.
If you still have an active BTTV subscription, contact BT and request a replacement, the number is 150 from a BT landline or 0800 800 150 from any other network.

Re: Bt tv box

So I've rang up 2 times to arrange a new box to be sent out. I've still got an active subscription to BTTV and was just on the phone on hold. Then I was just hung up on I'm just wanting a new BTTV box. I have the old one which doesn't work ready to be sent back.
