I was hoping someone can help, I need to update my BT vision box & I keep getting an error code VDR106 & VDR107, I am no longer with BT so I've given to my Dad who is with them. I've set it all up but still having the same codes. Is there anyway it will work. TIA

Is it a BT YouView box, and does your dad have a BT Broadband connection?
Or is it one of the old Vision+ boxes?

Then its not going to work, as the BT servers for that box were turned off in June 2017. You will have to take it to your local electrical recycling centre.
For a short period after the shutdown, there was a software update which allowed the box to be used as a FreeView PVR. That update is now no longer available.
If he wants a BT YouView box, then he can add it to his existing BT Broadband account.
