Can you watch/stream a recording from your set top box on your BT tv player app?

Thanks for your reply. Do you know if there is a way to watch personalised recordings from a set top box with a hard drive on another one in the same house that does not have a hard drive?

Have a look at Slingbox which is aimed at viewing live TV or recordings on your home equipment from a remote location over the internet but could also be used the way you want to.

I bought a 10 M long HDMI cable from eBay ( only cost 15 quid or so ) so if you a) can work out a way to control the box remotely and b) don't want to use the box at the same time you can do this. I had the cable running up the stairs so perhaps not the perfect option, however it did work very well with the remote eye.
