Change to no antenna AND keep recordings?

Go to solution

I haven't got around to changing to having all channels via internet and want to do it this weekend but is there a procedure I can follow that will keep my recordings?

Thanks

Hi @WelshDave

A factory reset is required in order to switch between aerial and Internet Mode . if you have recordings you'd like to keep, you can do a Maintenance Mode Option 2 and this will keep your recordings.

I've looked at the instructions but I'm not at all clear in what I need to do.  I do NOT want to risk losing my recordings...

I’ve done it and @zulu17 is correct.

It took me a couple of tries to get into maintenance mode but now all sorted and I still have my recordings.

Many thanks!

I like that it also updated my Scheduled recordings information. In aerial mode I had a series recording set up for a programme on Channel 4 HD ( EPG #104). After a Maintenance mode 2 reset, the scheduled recordings information was updated to series record Channel 4 (EPG #4).
