Error BTP-15000

Hi all, I have a new account and broadband is working fine, but when I try to access certain channels (that I'm definitely subscribed to) I get error BTP-15000 saying they can see I'm not a BT TV customer. I've seen similar threads and it looks like the mods have been able to change users' account settings to fix this. Believe me, the helpline doesn't help! Could a kind mod help me with this please?
