Last night our TV screen just went black. The Youview box was showing the normal 2 blue lights but was frozen, so were we as we are definitely not technically minded.
We switched the TV off but the remote would not switch the Youview box off, after sitting looking at it for sometime we decided to be brave and switch the whole lot off at the plug socket ( we did this when we had Virginmedia if anything went wrong)
Switched back on after a while and everything started to load again, now everything is working as it was all except for when we click on the blue home on remote and go to my TV, our recordings are all there but a message where the preview of recorded programs were, saying.

Unable to load. Wait a moment and try again.

we have left it all night but the message is still there.
We did go to the above bt.com/tverrors and checked signal and things were all showing as fine.

How is the BT YouView box connected to the BT Home hub?
I am unsure how it’s connected it’s a plug type thing into the wall socket and then a white lead but the bit that plugs into the plug type thing is yellow.
We did check everything except for this switch that’s somewhere at the back of the Youview box we didn’t switch that on and off as yet.
Just looked with a torch and it’s plugged into The Ethernet and I also saw the on off switch too.
Do you mean a pair of these?
Or is there a direct cable from the home hub to the BT YouView box?
The hub I think is the one upstairs working the internet they are both plugged in the same way but mini connectors.

flicked the switch on the back of the Youview box and all is well again.
