There are currently zero catch up programmes available on Fox. What is going on ? Why is nothing available ?
There were none yesterday (sunday evening) -I have been very disappointed with the absence of catchup provided on the extra channels. There is very little and it seems very inconsistently loaded and maintained. They seem to load episodes late so you only have a few days to view and even miss out loading episodes each week. Given that in Fox's case on a normal week you get 2 or at most 3 programmes loaded it is pretty poor presentation. The majority of the Extra channels don't have any catchup at all.
We’re sorry to hear your experiences about our Extra Channels catch-up offering on Sunday. We had some technical issues that meant ‘Dexter’, ‘Low Winters Sun’ and ‘Meet The Russians’ were not available until Monday morning.
We’re always working to improve what we offer on our extra channel catch up service. You may notice that there are some ‘coming soon’ episodes appearing in the FOX, National Geographic and National Geographic Wild catch up areas. In the past we have only been able to make catch up shows available on average 8 hours after broadcast but we’re starting to make shows available 1 hour after broadcast finishes on our extra channels. We’ll make this happen on all channels in the next month or so.
At the moment FOX only carry the catch up rights for their primetime hours. Whilst we agree this is not ideal, BT provides the same volume as other competitors who offer FOX catch up. We suspect as their catch up service becomes more popular they will get catch up rights for more of their shows and we will make these available to our customers.
We’re unable to offer a record function on our YouView boxes. We are working closely with YouView on this and will hopefully be able to offer this function in the near future.
All the best,
I've just got bt vision, and no fox, in the advert it says fox is available, it say nothing about it only being now and again. Also, in my book it says recording of catch up channels will be available in the autum, is this not the case?
