HDMI cable on YouView Ultra HD box

Hi All,
I’m thinking of getting a 4K tv. The man at Curry’s was saying the HDMI cable supplied with the BT Ultra HD box is not a proper 4K HDMI cable.
He would like me to buy the £79 pound cable from Curry’s.
I’m just checking is the HDMI cable supplied with the Ultra HD box any good or do I need to buy another HDMI cable?

Ive recently bought a 4K TV ( also from Currys) and was also offered a £80 HDMI cable, told then they were having a laugh....perhaps on laboratory equipment it may be possible to show an improvement over the HDMI cable supplied, but with the naked eye ?......thing to have in mind is salespeople are judged by their employers , and are financially incentivised, by how much they sell
