HDMI compatibility problem with new Youview box

Just got a new Youview box because of the discontinuation of iPlayer on my BT vison box. It seems to be cycling round trying to find a compatible display mode. The screen displays then flashes and goes blank in a continuous loop. The old BT vision box (black) and my pc are able to connect via HDMI so pretty sure its not the TV and pretty sure its not a faulty youview box.

I tried updating the Youview software. Switching between 720 and 1080 gets it working but when I go in and out of standby the problem comes back. This is defintely a Youview problem. Everything else I have tried with the TV is ok including the BT Vision box.

Needs looking at by the test team at Adastral Park.

Hi John. Someone phoned to say Adastral Park would be in touch but I haven't heard anything. iplayer stops on the 28th April.
