Hdmi for 4k.

Go to solution

Hi all,

Is the supplied cable with the box (bt Pro) capable of 4k or do I need to buy one?

I have a 4k tv on order and need to prep for it

Thanks

The supplied one is HDMI 2.1 compliant so will work fine.

Cheers Nigel.

Saves me digging up the cable. I did try and look online but kept getting info that it supported HD....

Saves me having to buy one now.  - just in time for Southampton Vs Manchester United on Saturday. - Knowing my beloved saints we'll get beat... but at least I can watch the defeat in 4K HDR! 🤣

Much appreciated to all users in this forum who kindly provide support voluntarily.

@biohazardx9 errm there's been an issue with the Ultimate HDR channel that's causing Pro boxes to lock up or reboot. If it happens, go to the normal Ultimate channel. BT are aware and are working on a fix. It's a new thing that only started a couple of weeks ago

Noted,  thank you for the heads up.

I'll use normal channel for the match, hdr for everything else not live

I'd give it a go but if the box reboots, they haven't fixed the glitch
