I've just ordered the entertainment channels, however its stating a start date of 24/2? Why does it take so long?
When I oreded the BT TV entertanment package over a year ago now with the HD extra bolt on they said they would go live in 48 hours but they went live for me on the retail Youview box that I had with in 6 to 8 hours and the BT Youview box arrived 3 days latter.
I also still have the old BT film/TV box sets bolt on and I find one or two of the box sets that are on BT are not on Netflix.
Why does it take so long? My box is setup and all plugged in ready to go. Yet I have to wait till Tuesday. Can a mod confirm why please?
I had my box installed in December and couldn't get any of the extra channels beyond the Freeview ones.
Over three days I was told to wait 24 hours which went well passed the activation date.
In the end I had to reset the box and they were there instantly.
Since then the longest a bolton change has taken to action is about 10 minutes.
I would phone them giving the reason TV FAULT which gets your through to the useful tv team
But I don't think they will be able to bring an activation forward.
It is usually instant - but they told me for a new install/upgrade - the activation can not be brought forward from the ininitally provided date.
Spoke to them and there is nothing they can do so they say, its like that sketch where the computer says no. Not very helpful or customer friendly.
