I need an aerial to watch BT TV ?

Go to solution

So was just about to press the button an order BT TV - then noticed you require a working Aerial to view what terrestrial channels. Having been with SKY these where streamed via the dish and it looks like BT TV just uses Freeview to provide these channels.

Is this correct ? Can I use the Virgin satellite LNB feeds ?

@Avatar156

You need a terrestrial TV aerial to get Freeview channels.

Satellite or cable will not work.

Ah OK - that’s pants so I’ll just renegotiate my Sky subscription then.

But thank you for the answer I appreciate it

To be fair that is like expecting to receive the FTA satellite channels such as BBC, ITV etc without having a satellite dish. Someone moving from BT TV to Sky would face the same situation in reverse.
