IPC6023 - TP-Link Archer C50 V4

Hi,

I'm having an issue with the extra BT channels that require an internet connection. I've been receiving the error code of IPC6023 and BT's support is limited as I'm using third party equipment (TP-Link Archer C50 V4 with an Openreach Modem). TV was working on with the TP-Link for months after deployment so I don't know what has caused it. The YouView box is connected via the BT Mini Connector Kit.

Internet for phones and PCs is working just fine with download speeds of over 25mbps and I do have another internet TV box, the TVB Anywhere box (From Hong Kong's TVB) for Hong Kong TV and that is working just fine.

Are you using BT's DNS servers by any chance?

Do catchup services like BBC's iPlayer work OK?

I ask this as there have been some issues recently where the BT DNS servers are causing an issue and replacing them with , say, Google's resolves the problem.

You will probably have been asked to reboot the modem/router and the Youview box and re-pair the Mini-connectors. If you haven't then that's worth a try.

1. No I'm using the CloudFlare's 1.1.1.1 DNS

2. Catch up services work just fine
