I have been an Infinity 2 customer for several years using a Home Hub 5. We like to watch BT Sport (rugby) at the weekends.
Approximately 2 weeks ago we renewed our Contract to the Halo 2 with a new Smart Hub 2. Ever since we get error code IPC 6023 every 4 minutes watching any of the BT Sport channels. You can clear it by changing channels but then only works for 4 minutes.
I've tried everything i.e. checking all connections, changing ethernet cables etc etc to no avail. I was so fed up yesterday i put the old Home Hub 5 back in and it all worked fine i.e. no IPC 6023 error code. What does this mean?

Try turning Smart Setup off.
Unless you are planning to use the add-on black disks, I would keep using the HH5.

The dilemma i have is that the Smart Hub 2 was giving us a far better wifi signal around the house than the HH5!
Hopefully your suggestion will sort it and we can use the Smart Hub.
I’ve turned off the Smart Set up as advised but it’s still giving the IPC6023 error.
Any other thoughts please?
