Intermittent sound

Hi I have seen a number of people post with same issue. The sounds seems to cut out for a few seconds then comes back on it happens all the time and it's really irritating. We have only just subscribed to BT in july and are so far disappointed with it. I have tried to reset my box checked all the cables etc and the problem still exists. Any solutions would be appreciated. Thanks

Hi @Stacyshays Sorry you are experiencing sound loss on your BTTV service. 

Does this only occur on Freeview channels or subscription channels or both?
Are you using a BT Hub?
Is your hub connected to the Youview box via ethernet cables or powerline adapters?

Hi John it's happens on all channels. Yes we have BT hub and not it connected with Wirelss adapters. Thanks

Hi @Stacyshays Just to clarify are you using wireless adapters to connect the BTTV box to the Hub?

If so please can you try and connect using an ethernet cable just to test if the fault is still happening as the adapters could be the cause.

It's a fault with the YouView box, ask for a completely new one.

Yes, important to ask for an uptodate serial number, not one of the early ones that start with 14.

i have tried cable still the same issue and the fibre box is in a different room from tv box.
