Jump to Time Feature

This is a request for return of the “jump to time”feature that is driven by another Youview problem I have which is missing the end of recorded programmes. If we accept that it’s not BT’s fault but the broadcasters surely (I know that people have differing views on who’s fault it is) if BT return the “jump to time” feature it would be easy to go to last minutes of recording to check all programme has recorded before watching.

Not forgetting that the need for it is also driven by the bug that Fast Forward of an internet channel recording causes loss of audio. Pressing Skip nearly 200 times to get to the fourth hour of a recording is not fun especially as there is also the bug were pressing Skip on an active internet recording often throws you back randomly an hour or so instead of a minute ahead.  Of course if we could have fixed time recordings then that would reduce the need for that.

The return of the jump to time feature is nothing to do with anything else. Just a want for its return.

Though if anyone wants to clould that desire by throwing some other garbage/issues/problems onto this dedicated thread for its return feel free. But you won't get anywhere.

Users with simple viewing needs may not understand the connection. Just leave it to those of us who do.
